The first thing I did after I woke up in the morning was look at the clock and make sure that my alarm had not gone off yet.
I would take a quick glance at the time and feel a chill down my spine.
Then, I would start to work on the design.
The first step was to figure out the dimensions of the garment.
I took a piece of tape to measure my waist size and cut it into two lengths.
I used two pieces of elastic to make my hemline wider, so that my dress could be made wider, too.
I made sure that I could fit my entire body in the waist measurement.
Once I had all of the measurements, I started to draw up the design in Photoshop.
Once the design was finished, I printed it out and pinned it to my dress.
I also added a little extra fabric around the front and back of the dress so that the sleeves wouldn’t be too long.
